If you're in love with a chef, I do not recommend cooking for them this Valentines day. I'm a cake fiend. Cake occupies most of my thoughts and all of my lunchtime browsing. The idea of O making me a cake fills me with horror and dread.

Leave it to the professionals guys. 

My personal preference would be for the Jasmine and Rosewater cupcake from Lola's (Peanut Butter comes in second place) (these were bough in Kings Cross tube station), but follow your love's tastes: hummingbird, bens cookies, a byron hamburger delivered to them at lunchtime.

Unconventional foodie gifts should be the way forward.

And don't expect half.
